The longest-running holiday event in Cape May is the Annual Christmas Candlelight House Tours.

More than 20 bed and breakfast inns, guesthouses, hotels and churches open their doors and share their charm, holiday cheer and Victorian interiors that make Christmas in Cape May a truly special time.

Free shuttle service on heated trolleys is provided. Two refreshment stations with fresh-baked cookies, wassail, tea and coffee are included on the tour.

Lamplighter House Tours

The evening Lamplighter Christmas Tours invite tourgoers into five of Cape May’s historic bed and breakfast inns festively decorated for the holidays.

Home-made baked goods and warm Wassail punch await tourgoers in the Carriage House of the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St. Tourgoers can also see the latest exhibit in the Carriage House Gallery.
