The Washington Inn

Set in a circa 1840 plantation house, The Washington Inn has become synonymous with elegant dining in Cape May. Zagat's says simply, "Everything's first class." The Philadelphia Inquirer praises the restaurant's wine cellar as "one of the finest around." New York Magazine says the restaurant "deserves its accolades."

The restaurant has 5 separate dining rooms, including a garden room and a patio. You'll find an appetizing mix of classic American and Italian dishes on Executive Chef Mimi Wood's seasonal menu. Save room for one of pastry chef Kathy Cressman's unbelievable desserts.

In operation since the 1940's, the Washington Inn has been under the management of the Craig family for over 20 years.
