Carol King HoodCarol King Hood has been painting scenes of Cape May since she was 8 years old. She studied watercolor with Cape May's own Alice Steer Wilson, whose talent and coaching continue to inspire her today. Carol's formal training took place at The Philadelphia College of Art, where she studied illustration and later worked in the graphic arts as a designer. She captures the beauty of her subjects in rich, bold colors. Her watercolors are available as matted, limited edition prints. She also has a line of Cape May greeting cards and handmade, kiln fired tiles. The artist is a member of the Cape May County Art League and is represented by Peter McPhee Fine Arts in Stone Harbor.
