Cape May Music Festival

Every Spring, Cape May comes alive with tulips and migrating birds and ....music. One of the most incredible phenomena in this town is the Cape May Music Festival.

For six weeks in May and June, world class musicians perform in simple venues like the Cape May Convention Hall and local churches.

And while the hope is that this musical marathon will draw in a few extra tourists, the truth of the matter is that the music pulls in many of locals as well.

No need to travel far to hear a symphony or to see an ethnic dance ensemble. They come to us. Few towns this size (Cape May has only a few thousand year round residents) manage a feat like this.
