7:30PM. Lecturer Paul Somers from the Bay Atlantic Symphony answer your questions. In addition to his duties with the Symphony, Paul is a composer, performer, founder of the Classical New Jersey Society and former music review writer for the Star-Ledger. May 24 Symphony by the Sea Concert Series: Brass Quintet
A Brass Quintet of the Bay-Atlantic Symphony performs a rousing and spirited repertoire of Western themes including an arrangement of Elmer Bernstein and David Brown’s Magnificent Seven. Featured in the brass quintet are: Tom and Brian Cook on trumpet, Tom Williams on French horn, Richard Linn on trombone and David Laird playing tuba.
7PM, Avalon Elementary School Auditorium. Tickets $10.
