Fabulous Fifties Street Fair
Part of an island-wide celebration of the Wildwoods' role in the birth of Rock 'n' Roll. Charlie Gracie, Kenny Vance and the Planotones appear as well as Chubby Checker who'll unveil a bronze plaque at 1:15PM marking the spot (Spicer and Pacific Avenues) where he first performed "The Twist."
