Take a Class
This last stretch of winter is just the time to learn something new. The Center for Community Arts begins a new round of their Art of Vitality Classes in March. If you missed the first round, you can sign up now for scarf painting, paper macher or even a Chinese parasol workshop. Each class meets four times at the Nature Center of Cape May, 1600 Delaware Avenue, Cape May. Cost: $40 for all 4 sessions. Call the Center for Community Arts (609) 884-7525 to sign up.
 Polar Plunge
All the brave souls from Wildwood Crest and beyond jump into the Atlantic Ocean this Saturday at noon on the Jefferson Avenue beach. They are raising scholarship money in honor of a former lifeguard who perished in the 911 attacks.You can sign up and take part or just go to watch. Cost is $25 to take the plunge. Solve a Mystery
If this is your first trip to Cape May, consider taking a tour with Sherlock Holmes this weekend. You can help solve a Victorian era mystery - and take peeks inside some of the town's Victorian homes as well. Cost: $15 adults; $7.50 children. Buy your tickets and start the tour at the Washington Street Mall Info Booth. The tour lasts from 1 to 3PM.
