Evening at the Meadows
Spend one of the last (we hope) winter evenings soaking up the peacefulness of the season at the Cape May Meadows. Friday night, March 17th, starting at 5 PM, meet naturalists from the Cape May Bird Observatory at the Nature Conservancy's refuge on Sunset Blvd. Take a break from your nine to five life and get in touch with the rest of the natural world. $5 members, $10 non-members.
Jazz Vespers
If you love Broadway music you'll love hearing Lois Smith belt out a few numbers accompanied by talented pianist George Mesterhazy. They'll surprise you with some jazz and gospel numbers as well. This concert if free but donations are requested. The music starts starts at 3PM Sunday -0 march 19 at the First Presbyterian Church, on Hughes and Decatur Streets in Cape May.
Cape May Wine School
So you think you know everything about wine? Wine lovers can learn a few tips from a local expert this Sunday at 1PM. Michael Craig from the Washington Street Inn talks about the wines produced by small growers of southern France. Amaze your friends with your wine knowledge the next time you dine out. The class is $25 per person. For reservations contact the Washington Inn at (609) 884-5697 or the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts at (609) 884-5404.
