What are you doing on Easter Sunday? If you're all dressed up, head over to our Lady, Star of the Sea's school gym for Cape May's annual Easter Stroll starting at noon. (The entrance is actually on Lafayette street, around the corner from the Washington Street mall.)
It's free and it's fun to watch. Prizes are awarded in various categories, including a prize for the best dressed family. So buff up those patent leather shoes and put on your best Easter Bonnet.
A brand new film series gets started this Saturday at 5PM, of all places, the Cape May Winery at 711 Townbank Road.
The cost - $15 - includes Meg Ryan's film French Kiss, a free wine glass filled with your choice of wine and reduced rates on refills. The series benefits the Summer Film Camp for Kids run by the Cape May NJ State Film Festival. Call for tickets and info at (609) 609 884-1169.
If you want to hunt for Easter Eggs, you have several choices. Saturday at 10AM, head over to the Cape May Elementary School on Lafayette St. or to Cape May Point State Park and bring all of your little egg hunters with you.
Also Saturday, the Elks in North Wildwood are sponsoring an Easter Egg hunt on the beach at 17th Avenue in North Wildwood. Call (609) 729-2170 for more info.
All are free. Happy Hunting!
