Earth Day
Here's one way to help - take the Earth Day Challenge at Cape May Pont State Park this Saturday, April 21. Bring your shovels and pruners and lots of energy. The Park is marking Earth Day by freeing trees and shrubs from invasive vines - like Japanese honeysuckle, that oh so sweet smelling strangler. Call (609) 884-2159 for more info. If you're more a garden type, head over to the Nature Center of Cape May and help them get their gardens ready for spring.
9AM-noon, Nature Center of Cape May, 1600 Delaware Ave.
 Cape May Jazz Festival
It's jazz time again. You can spend your entire weekend listening to hot jazz or just Saturday or Sunday afternoon or evening. Jazz fanatics will recognize some of the heavy hitters performing in various spots around town.
Tour and Tea
If you want to get an inside peek at Victorian Cape May, take the Cape May Sampler tour this Saturday from 1 to 3PM. You'll see the Linda Lee and the John Wesley Inns, take a little trolley ride through town and wrap it up with tea at the Emlen Physick Estate. Tickets at the Washington Street Mall info booth.
