It's May and the arts are starting to come alive once again. You have choices this weekend..
 Cape May Music Festival
The annual Music Festival kicks off on Sunday with an Irish vocal group - The Makem Brothers and the Spain Brothers.
they've been on the road for 15 years, performing all over the world. Stick around Sunday at 8Pm for the concert at
Cape May Convention Hall. You don't have to commit until the last minute - tickets ($22) are available at the door.
Dancing and Theater
Pride and Prejudice fans - (Wasn't that a great movie. Yes a wonderful book as well.) can mix and mingle at the Jane Austen Festival all weekend at Congress Hall. Hear lectures and a new play while you chow down in the Congress Hall Ballroom.
If you're not the literary type, perhaps you might be the dance type. The Carole Dorfman Dance Troupe performs at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center. They'll be presenting a brand new work in honor of artist Sam Maitlin.
Cape May Run
If you're not the arts type, maybe you're the athletic type. The Cape May Chamber sponsors its annual run through the streets of Cape May on Saturday. Starts at 8AM in front of Convention Hall on Beach Ave. If you're not the athletic type and you're the car type, watch out if you're planning to take a drive along Beach Ave. Saturday morning. It'll be closed.
