Live the big city life this weekend, without leaving the shore.
 Italian Festival
North Wildwood's take on the classic Italian Festival is as close as you'll get to NYC'S Mulberry St. festival. There's the parade, the food, the dollar bills stashed by the saint's statue, the music. But of course, everyone goes for the food.. Italian sausage and pepper sandwiches, veal and peppers, beer, ice cream..and there's dinner. Maybe you should save room for a cannoli or two. Weekend festival starts Friday night on Olde New Jersey Ave in North Wildwood.
Designer Show House
If you're into sophisticated home decor, you don't have to go far this weekend. The Mid Atlantic Center for the Arts unveils their Designer Show House right on Hughes St. in Cape May. Go and drool over the window treatments or furniture or the garden design or the new ktichen and baths. Legions of interior designers have descended upon this lovely old home and have reinvented it as only interior designers know how. The house opens for visitors this Saturday.Admission $25 at the door - 608 Hughes St.
