Cape May Sand Sculpting Contest

The Sand Castle building starts Friday morning at 9AM on Cove Beach but if you want to see the finished results wait until after noon to check things out. In the past there have been sand lobsters, sand dominoes, sand cars and sand mermaids. And yes, you will see sand castles as well. Sign up by calling Cape May Recreation at (609) 884-9565.

St. Peter's By-the-Sea Bazaar

Yes we just love little community events like this annual bazaar. People line up befrore 9AM to get in. Go for crafts stuff and plants and books and the unpredictable white elephants. And of course there's always something to eat. Lasts from 9AM to 1PM Saturday, so there's still time to hit the beach. St. Peter's by the Sea at Lincoln and Ocean Aves in Cape May Point. If it's raining, the bazaar moves to the Cape May Point Fire Hall.

Mark Twain Returns

This is the second year this one man show is playing the Chalfonte. If you missed it last year, you're in luck - it opens this Saturday at 8:30PM for another run. Mark Twain fans, this is a must do.
