Summer Wildflowers

The Cape May Bird Observatory's senior naturalist (and very knowledgeable plants person) takes 20 lucky folks on a Sunday morning tour of local wildflowers. Mark Garland knows his flowers - and, after this walk, you will too. Not only do you get to see pretty flowers, you'll see some very pretty butterflies and hummingbirds along the way. They do their part, you know, to keep everything blooming.

When: Sunday, 8:30AM-12:30PM.
Where: several Cape May venues
How Much: $15 members, $25 non members
Contact: (609) 861-0700

Baby Parades

Not one but two Baby Parades this weekend - Both Wildwood and Stone Harbor trot out the litte ones for a chance to have their 15 minutes of fame a little early in life. Take your tot and tripod and get some photos that you can whip out in years to come, when that little tot's an easily embarrased teen.

When: Thursday, July 22, 6PM
Where: Wildwood Boardwalk from Burk Avenue to Schellenger Avenue
How Much: Free.

When: July 24-25, 10AM-4PM
Where: Historic Cold Spring Village, 720 Route 9 North, Cape May
How Much: $7 adults, $5 children.
