Salt Marsh SafariSee something you've never seen before...the Jersey Cape's last wilderness frontier: miles and miles of scenic Atlantic back bays and beautiful salt marshes. The Skimmer, a stable 40 foot catamaran, quietly stalks marshes teaming with wildlife, showing you nature's dramas: a peregrine falcon chasing a kingfisher ...newborn osprey and tern chicks ... the world's largest colony of laughing gulls. The Skimmer will pull right up next to a salt marsh so kids (and adults) can get a better look at horseshore crabs or baby gulls or other natural curiosities. The sights change with the seasons. It's a perfect trip for families, a must for birders and nature buffs, and tons of fun for everyone. Board at the Dolphin Cove Marina across from the Two Mile Beach section of the Cape May National Wildlife Refuge on Ocean Drive. Trips leave daily at 10AM and 1:30PM in season. Also, summer evening trips at 6PM. FYI: It's a good idea to make reservations in advance.
