Cape May Point Beach Snapshots
You can't go any farther south in New Jersey than Cape May Point. Cape May Point residents bring their little red wagons to the beach each day.
Some pitch their beach umbrellas in secluded spots near the sand dunes... away from the crowds.
Others get as close to the sea as they can.
In the summertime, lifeguards keep watch over the beach during the day. In the fall, migrating birds take over the Point beaches, stopping for a snack on their way south.
Cape May Point is the place where the Atlantic Ocean and the Delaware Bay meet...good fishing as well as good birding.
It's a bike kind of place....unless you happen to have a little red wagon. |
