Cape May Beach Tags 2009

If you buy your beach tags for the season before March 31, 2009, the cost is $15 per tag. (Mail order $15.75)

If you buy your season's beach tags after March 31, the cost is $25 per tag.

That buys you:

• long walks on sandy beaches
• cooling dips in the Atlantic Ocean
• lazy afternoons under the beach umbrella with your favorite novel
• the biggest, best playground around for your kids

If you're not going to be staying for the whole season, you can get weekly or even daily passes:

• Weekly beach tags are $13 per week. (The week goes from Saturday to Saturday.)
• Three day beach tags are $10 per person.
• One day beach tags are $5.
• All season tags, as we mentioned, are $25 per beach tag

During the summer, beach tags are sold at beach entrances.

You can also buy them ahead of time at the Cape May City Hall Finance Office, 643 Washington St. They're open on weekdays, from 9AM-to 5PM.

You also can order as many as 5 seasonal beach tags by mail. Just add an extra .75 per beach tag, if ordering by mail.

By the way, children under 12 can go on the beach for free.
