Busby Berkeley Film Retrospective
2PM. A look at the great entertainer's work as a director, choreographer, and filmmaker. Sponsored by Cape May Film Society. Congress Hall's Harrison Room. $10.

March 2 Winter ShoreSlam
7PM (sign up at 6:30PM) Poetry and first person themed story competition sponsored by the Center for Community Arts. Bring a 5-minute story to tell or a 3-minute poem to share. Free. Lucky Bones, 1200 Rt. 109, Cape May.

Haiti Houses Fundraiser
3-6PM. Local artists Tina Giaimo, Paige Cunningham and Janet Payne host this fundraiser for Haiti. People of all ages can make tiny houses sold to raise money for the earthquake victims. The Haiti Houses project is a national movement started by two Florida art teachers. Held at Higher Grounds, 479 West Perry Street.

Soup-er Bowl
6-9PM. (rescheduled from February) Annual party to benefit “Jazz and More” radio station, WCFA-LP at the West Cape May Fire4 House. Auction with donated local talents and services. West Cape May Fire Hall. $12 at the door.

March 7 Healing for Haiti
4PM. A service of music and prayer to raise relief aid for Haiti. Includes performances by an arrray of instrumentalists and singers from South Jersey, performking ther worksd of Bach, Handel, Dvorak and Chopin, among others. Cape Island Baptist Church, Columbia and Gurney Streets, Cape May. Donations collected for Haiti.
March 20 Penny Party
6PM. Calling starts at 7PM. $2.00 admission, includes first envelope of numbers, bag of pretzels and door prize ticket. Green Creek Fire Hall
March 21 The Mad Batter Beer School
2PM. Learn about the world of beer. Includes five samples of beer and light refreshments. Mad Batter, 19 Jackson St. $25 per person. Bistro menu also available.

March 25 The South Jersey Experience: Civil War Biographies
7PM. Panel discussion about the role of South Jersey in the Civil War. Jim Stephens, Deputy Director for Historic Cold Spring Village, is the moderator, with music by Barry Tischler. Cape May Historical Society Museum, 504 Rt. 9 North, Cape May Court House. Free.
March 27 Historic Haunts Combo Tour
7PM Trolley tour then a guided tour of the historic (some say haunted) Physick Estate, with a discussion of Victorian spiritualism. Tour begins and ends at the Washington St. Mall Information Booth. $20 adults, $15 children.

Cape May Wine School
1PM. Featuring wines from Australia and New Zealand. Washington Inn, 801 Washington St. $30.

March 28 Ocean Drive Marathon
9AM. 26 mile run starting on Beach Ave. in Cape May and ending on Sea Isle City's promenade. Participants run along Ocean Drive and the Wildwood Boardwalk as well. Register at Wildwood Fitness Expo March 27th. Entry fee $100.
