Cape May Nature Center Beach Party

August 2, 2004 - The Nature Center of Cape May is throwing a summer bash with a Beach Party theme this Thursday, August 5.

Neptune's Nature Beach Party will feature a scavenger hunt with prizes, games like crab tag and crafts.

There'll be picnic type foods from local restaurants for both adults and children. A DJ will spin beach party tunes and special guest Pete the Pirate, the Cape May-Lewes Ferry mascot, will entertain guests.

Preregistration's preferred, although walk in guests are welcome. The cost is $15 a person or $35 for a family of 3. The event is a fundraiser for the Nature Center. The party's being sponsored, in part, by the Whales Tale.

The party goes on, rain or shine, from 4 to 7PM at the Nature Center on Delaware Ave near Cape May harbor.
