Kids Can in Cape May Feb. 27thPosted 02/20/05 Magician performs Headlining Kids Can Expo entertainment this year is Magician Bill Kerwood. Bill will bring his Pro-Kids Show, featuring music, magic, comedy, and audience interaction, to the Kids Can Expo stage for action-packed excitement. Drum Circle Other perennial favorites are back by popular demand as well. Marc Jacopec’s Drum Fun is a wild, rhythmic phenomenon that will have grandmothers and toddlers alike drumming and swaying to the beat. Jersey Cape Dancers The award winning Jersey Cape Dance Academy returns with their talented local dancers. Here's the schedule of performances:
Live Animals Live animal presentations include New Jersey Nature’s rescued birds and animals from around the globe and Lower Township High School’s Marine Science students’ ocean-life touch tanks. Kids Can Expo also features hands-on science experiments and nature exploration; guided beach walks; the popular kids’ craft-making stations, games, and appearances by Athenie the Birthday Genie and Kidsville News’ mascot, Truman the Dragon. Many area environmental and children’s organizations will be on hand with information and activities, including 4-H Teen Ambassadors, the Seeing Eye Dog 4-H Club, the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts, the Nature Conservancy, the Wetlands Institute, Wildlife Unlimited, Aquatic Discoveries, Cold Spring Village, and Morey’s Pier. And of course there'll be food - including chili from Freda’s, pizza, hot dogs, popcorn, and snacks. The admission price is $4.00 for adults and children three and over.
