4th of July Fireworks
CAPE MAY, N.J.– Don't miss the fireworks at the shore this 4th of July.
Here's the rundown of where to go Monday evening, July 4th:
Congress Hall is once again hosting the city's fireworks on the 4th of
July. The skies should light up starting at about 9PM along Cape May's
beachfront. Bring a beach chair or blanket and get comfy anywhere on the
beach. Those with beach views will also have a ringside seat. Free.
Cape May Lewes Ferry Terminal
One day early, on July 3, there will be a steel band and refreshments at the ferry terminal in North Cape May starting at 7PM. At 9PM, the fireworks will be launched from a barge in the middle of the Delaware Bay. Bring a beach chair and enjoy the free show.
If you want to get even closer to the fireworks, consider going on a special ferry cruise on the bay during the fireworks. Cost: $20 adults and $10 children under 12. Call (800) 643-3779.
In Wildwood, fireworks go off at 10PM on the 4th of July. The epicenter of the action is the Wildwoods Boardwalk at Pine Avenue. Free. Afterwards, head over to Wildwoods Convention Hall beach, for a special late show of War of the Worlds, right on the beach!
