CAPE MAY, N.J.– Expect to be dazzled by a blizzard of butterflies, hummingbirds, and dragonflies!

Several local gardeners open their backyards to the Cape May Bird Observatory tour goers this summer for a peek into private gardens and meadows.

July is the primetime for many garden blooms and this garden tour series starts Friday and Saturday, July 15 and 16th.

The tours last from 10AM-3PM and are led by CMBO's Garden expert Pat Sutton. Learn all about new plants for your yard and get some garden design ideas as well.

Future “Tours of Private Butterfly Gardens in and near Cape May Point” will be offered on Saturday, August 13, and Saturday, September 10.

Future “Tours of Private Butterfly Gardens between Dennisville and the Villas / Rio Grande” will be offered on Friday, August 12, and Friday, September 9.

The cost for each tour is $30 ($20 for members of Cape May
Bird Observatory or New Jersey Audubon Society.)
