Cape May's First Snow of the Season

Cape May, NJ - It came a little early this year, but photographer Dianna Wentink was right out there to capture Cape May in the snow.

Over five inches covered the town and surrounding areas this week - the perfect icing on the cake for many gingerbread homes.

Intrepid birders stood guard on the hawk watch at Cape May Point State Park, trying to see what the storm brought in.

And everywhere you looked, the white stuff transformed the scenery into Currier and Ives images.

Nothing like a little snow to bring out that holiday spirit.
