Kids Can Expo 2006

Cape May, NJ - Whether you wanted to pet a snake or see a skunk, make jump ropes out of rags or hats out of paper bags, you could do that and more at Cape May Convention Hall Sunday.

The Nature Center of Cape May's annual Kids Can Expo filled Convention Hall with masses of curious, eager children trying their hand at writing on the wall, playing with puppets and creating art from everyday objects.

Most major community organizations were on hand with their own take on what kids can do. Emlen Physick from the Physick Estate encouraged kids to pose for photos as Victorian beach goers while Lower Township School students helped teach little ones how to make broomstick pencils. Live animals were courtesy of the Cape May County Zoo.
