Cape May, NJ - The Center for Community Arts is already hard at work, trying to figure out how to top its latest extravaganza.

The Congress Hall Ballroom was a sea of elaborate hats and French berets for CCA's Evening in Paris fundraiser. Part of the fun was a Chapeau Challenge. Over 300 party goers wearing hats of every imaginable shape and material filled Congress Hall's ballroom last Friday night. Some hats even glowed in the dark.

Kathy Kint (above) captured first prize for her tall, feathery creation.

Steve Haas's Parisian ensemble (below) won first prize in the men's division.

After last year's Red Shoe Gala, and this year's Chapeau Challenge, CCA board members already have a few ideas up their sleeves for next year's event. Mum's the word.

The group is actively involved with local young people and the arts.
