Cape May County 's own Mega Millionaire

Posted 3/08/07
Cape May, NJ - The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that coworkers were hinting a Woodbine social worker was the winner. MSNBC's Willie Geist reported that a chef at the Bellevue Tavern in Cape May Court House was a winner.

But those stories haven't panned out. And no one in Cape May County has come forward to claim their half of the $370 million Mega Millions prize.

The only thing that's certain is that one of two winning lottery tickets in the Mega Millions jackpot was purchased at Campark Liquors, in Woodbine.

The winning ticket could bring the ticket holder $7 million a year for the next 26 years.

Officially, only a Georgia truckdriver has claimed his half of the $370 million jackpot.
