Cape May, NJ — The wind and snow stopped, the skies cleared and we all came out of hiding Sunday.
After as much as 30 inches of snow had fallen, it was clean up time.

From the Washington Street Mall to countless side streets and back roads, the scene was the same - the big dig out was on.

Mountains of snow were everywhere. Where do you put 30 inches of snow??

The task took on an extra measure of urgency when news broke of a new snow storm headed our way this week.
Perhaps that's why some decided to wait just a bit before pulling out the shovels. With more snow coming this week, we could be digging out of a new storm this weekend.
