Topic: Quick spin around Belleplain

An hour walk this morning around Belleplain State Forest was nice-had a two Black and White Warblers, male Pine Warblers being very territorial and chasing each other around, several Louisiana Waterthrushes singing, heard a single Palm Warbler, heard several Yellow-rumped Warblers, loads of Yellow Throated Warblers and had a White-eyed Vireo this morning as a new arrival-
Also had an interesting behavior- had Hermit Thrush on the ground with one leg "vibrating" then hop, hop-leg vibrating -pick through leaves and continue with one leg vibrating etc.- wild! It wasn't just feeling around as much as really vibrating! Maybe disturbing any little bugs under leaf litter to better find them?
