No Blizzard in Cape May 2015

Cape May, NJ -  Cape May got lucky again. While Massachusetts beaches got pounded with icy waves and snow, Cape May escaped with barely a trace of snow this week.

You had to look hard Tuesday morning to find any snow on the island, after the big blizzard sideswiped the Northeast.  The National Weather Service official estimate for this area was less than a half inch, with barely any snow sticking around long enough to be measured.

Although we were bracing for more, the storm shifted eastward, pummeling beaches south of Boston and Nantucket, but sparing our part of the coast.

Some parts of New Jersey did get upwards of half a foot of snow, but this was the scene outside the Physick Estate yesterday.
