2015 Ocean Drive Marathon

CAPE MAY, NJ – Every year, hundreds of dedicated runners come to Cape May for the annual Ocean Drive Marathon. This year, the coastal marathon kicks off at 9AM Sunday March 29th.

The starting line is on Beach Avenue at Congress Hall.

Runners continue through Cape May and onto Ocean Drive, over four drawbridges, past fishing boats and through Wildwood Crest, Wildwood and North Wildwood.  In the process they run the entire length of the Wildwood boardwalk.

Then they tackle the island communities of Stone Harbor and Avalon, wrapping up the race on Sea Isle City’s Promenade.  Total 24 plus miles.

Runners not up to that grueling challenge can take part in the 10 mile race which finishes on the boardwalk in North Wildwood.

And true couch potatoes can watch the start of the spectacle from the Cape May Promenade.

Cost to enter the race: $100 for the marathon, $70 for the 10 mile race. Contact Ocean Drive Marathon to register. 609-523-0880
