Cape May, NJ – Two holiday plays in Cape May put the jolly old man in the red suit front and center. Both plays open in Cape May right after Thanksgiving.

A Cape May Christmas – November 27 to  January 2.

Cape May Stage presents A Cape May Christmas starring David Tabish as Santa and Kathy Robinson as Mrs. Claus. (above.) In this world premiere, a contemporary Santa and Mrs. Claus pay a secret visit to the seaside resort.  Written by Marlena Lustik.

Evening Performances (7:30PM) Thursday through Saturday.
Matinees (3PM) Saturday and Sundays.
Additional evening performances Tuesday and Wednesday, December 22, 23,  29 and 30.
Ticket prices: $38, Seniors $33, Students $18.

The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus – November 27 to December 12

The story of how Santa Claus became who he is today, based on a classic tale by L. Frank Baum.

East Lynne’s Artistic Director Gayle Stahlhuth adapts Baum’s story and presents it in story telling style, revealing how Santa ended up with a most exciting life.

Evening performances (8 PM) on:
November 27 and 28;  December 6, 10, 11 and 12.
Saturday matinee (2 PM) December 12.
Ticket prices: $25, students $15
