Cape May, NJ - Every year, on the first Saturday of December, the town of West Cape May hosts a true piece of Americana - the annual West Cape May Christmas parade.

This year, as always, Philadelphia Mummers Bands strutted their stuff along with local high school marching bands, while the aspiring dancers from the Joanne Regan Studio braved the cold to perform their latest number.

A replica of the Cape May Victorian Gazebo rolled down Broadway, as did a float decked out with thatched huts and leis and another covered with kids and Winnie the Pooh.

West Cape May's Mayor shared her car with the town's Lima Bean Queen, deck out appropriately in a green Cape.

But the real stars of the show were the fire trucks from miles around, lit with garlands of lights from stem to stern.
