BBQ Cook Off

July 11, North Wildwood - The Lost Nation Smoke Company - a family group of suburban Philadelphians led by a carpenter from Vermont walked off with the 2004 grand prize at the New Jersey State BBQ cookoffs in North Wildwood.

A group of guys who get together to cook BBQ, the Philly Pigs, won the top prize for their BBQ sauce.

No one except the judges got to taste the winning entries. While amateur and professional BBQ chefs alike were competing for prizes, other BBQ vendors from all over the eastern US were serving up the ribs and pulled pork to crowds of hungry festival goers.
