Hosted by popular '50s disc jockey Jerry "The Geator" Blavat, wildwood Coinvention Center. $10 admission.
Saturday, October 16
Fabulous Fifties Street Fair
10AM-6PM, Wildwood Boardwalk, Burk to Andrews Avenue
This street fair features live music from the '50s and '60s, including '50s guitar virtuoso Charlie Gracie (#1 in the U.S. and U.K. with "Butterfly"), surf guitar band the Rip Chords (who had a million-seller with "Hey Little Cobra"), PhillyCuzz, food and merchandise vendors, Hula-Hoop contests, look-alike contests (Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Elvis Presley), dance contests and '50s fashions. - 11am: PhillyCuzz: Philip "Philly Cuzz" Battaglia performs original songs about the shore, and a revamped version of "On the Way to Cape May.

Historical Marker Unveiling.
Wildwood Boardwalk at Andrew Avenue
The Original Comets, five musicians who performed with the late Bill Haley in 1954 when he first performed "Rock Around the Clock" in Wildwood, will be on hand to unveil an historical marker designating Oak and Atlantic Avenues as the site where the song was introduced.
Wildwoods DooWop '50s Trolley Tours

Tours depart from Burk Avenue and the Boardwalk, Wildwood

Classic Car Cruise, Pacific Avenue
Classic cars from the turn-of-the-century to the 1960s,leave the boardwalk for a cruise north on Pacific Avenue to 2nd Avenue in North Wildwood, then south along Atlantic Avenue to Heather Road in Wildwood Crest. Free.
Concert: Fabulous Fifties Rock and Roll Show
with Fabian, Charlie Gracie, The Dovells, The Orlons, Danny and the Juniors and The Original Comets in America's Salute to the 50th anniversary of "Rock Around the Clock," 7:30PM, Wildwoods Convention Center. Tickets: $31.

Wildwoods Music Award Presentation to Charlie Gracie
1PM 12th and New Jersey Avenues (adjacent to Cool Scoops), North Wildwood
The Wildwoods will present the Wildwoods Music Award to guitar virtuoso Charlie Gracie Live jam session of musicians who played in Wildwood nightclubs in the 1950s and '60s and Dean Martin/Jerry Lewis impersonators. Free.
