Hi Steve,
Each week I write the Cape May Natural History & Events Hotline. It's updated Thursday evenings and can be read in full by going to NJ Audubon's web site & clicking on "Sightings" at the top of any page.
Our hummingbirds came back in mid-April and have been regular since. This hotline's included regular updates about our hummers and other fun nature notes week-by-week. During the last week or so male hummingbirds have been seen repeatedly doing their aerial display, called the "pendulum swing" over females! So, they'll soon nest.
Enjoy the natural world!
