If the guinea hens that are wandering loose around Sea Grove, Sunset Blvd. and Stevens Street are not wild, then who owns them? I would like to know as these hens are destroying my yard on a daily basis. I understand they eat ticks, beetles, grasshoppers, etc. and in this way are great to have around. But yet they dig around my shrubs to their bare roots and have even uprooted some of my perennials. How do I get rid of them (half of my yard is fenced and it would be rather expensive to fence the rest of my yard at this time)?
