You would likely see some loons, along with sea ducks, various gulls, perhaps some Great Cormorants, and other birds. There are still plenty of loons around. Also consider simply looking from shore - from Cape May, Cape May Point (any of the beach overlooks), the concrete ship and Sunset Beach. There are likely to be loons close to shore at all or some of these places. They will mostly be Red-throated.
