Had two Marbled Godwits on both the afternoon and evening cruises yesterday on Nummy's island, from the Skimmer. Male Red-Breasted Merg. and about 25 Royal Terns, numerous Dowitchers and Western Willets also. Least Terns attempting nests again on sand bar island in Hereford Inlet. Observed two pass. Ultra-Lite plane making many passes over nesting colony on both SH point and sand island, seemed to be intentionally harassing them, anyone know who it is or the planes ID #? Will call Endangered Species folks today to make a report, an ID would help.
